how many days one must wait to book a refill LPG cylinder?
my dealer says i must wait for 21 days to book a refill LPG. thereafter it may take another 10-15 days to get delivery of the refill cylinder making it 30-35 days from one cylinder to another. is this the norm or the dealer is hoodwinking me? please let me know. any redressal link?

Where I’m from we pull up to a Sheets convenient store, go in get a clerk, pull out our old empty cylinder and exchange it for a cleaned filled one. $25, and 5 minutes later we are headed back home.

What kind of LPG cylinder? A small portable one that you would use for a BBQ, the built-in ones on a motor home, the one that provides LPG gas to your home, etc.? If it’s a portable one, you should be able to go to a variety of places (gas station, convenience store, home improvement store, etc) and exchange it for a filled one. If it’s built into a motorhome or something, you take the motorhome down to a gas station that has propane service and they refill it similar to getting gasoline. And, if it’s the tank for your home, they don’t replace the cylinder. They fill it up from a large propane truck. And, it shouldn’t take more than a day or two to get an appointment for filling it up.

yes 21 days looks to be mandatory even our dealer insist for 21 days intermittent time between one booking to next,
but delivery delay of 10 to 15 days? this looks to be slightly on the higher side.normal del. is one week to 10 days max.
